Hackers Hacked Apple iPhone device, lock remotely and Claim $100 to unlock it

Recently most of the Australian Apple users are gets locking to their devices remotely by cyber criminals. After locking the message appears that “Device Hacked by Oleg Pliss” and asked the victims to pay $100 to unlock their phones to lock404@hotmail.com.

Most of the users are into this attack and this came to known only after a user asked for the solution in Apple Support Forum. It is found that the attack have spread in Australia and New Zealand users. There is no statement from Apple for the reason of this attack and they have some steps to be followed to overcome this attack. After gaining access to the devices the users are requested to reset their password and enable two step verification processes. The experts that the attack looks like Cryptolocker Malware and also quoted that the iCloud apple username and password were used by the attacker to gain access over the devices.

Do not pay the Ransom

It is also found that there is no PayPal account related to the provided email address.

Those users who are all get compromised by this ransom attack are urge to contact Apple and not to support hackers. Apple has the solution to unlock the device and this requires resetting may erase all information that not backed up.
